Women of Wellness

     The physician’s prescription for longer life is exercise and a healthy lifestyle. It is highly recommended for everyone to try a Health and Wellness class taught by a certified wellness instructor of 20 yrs., Judy McPheters.

 

     Remember: Heart attack is the number #1 killer of women. Every year, an estimated 485,000 women die of heart disease and stroke. More than twice the number who die of all forms of cancer combined.

 

     Women with chronic health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, or obesity, or who are at high risk for these conditions should first consult a physician before beginning a new program of physical activity. Women over 50 who plan to begin a new program of vigorous physical activity should first consult a physician to be sure they do not have heart disease or other health problems.
