     I am a 44 yr. old mother & physical therapist. I have tried level 1, step, low-impact & aqua aerobics as well as yoga. I have used treadmills and weight machines. But there’s one class out there that I find very unique, caring and that is Judy McPheters class. She’s very effective for many reasons, including strengthening of the functional muscles we use everyday and stretching, balance & co-ordination exercises. Also geared toward functional & brain exercises (something we never want to get out of shape). Great music, laughter and fun. Judy’s end of class is inspirational & very relaxing. She helps us to improve our body image & self-esteem (no matter how old or what body shape you happen to have). I find myself looking forward to her class every week.      For a couple of years I have been experiencing carpal tunnel and pain everyday in my right arm. It hinder a lot of everyday activities that I once took for granted. I stopped exercising my upper body to favor that arm. I decided to take Judy McPheters exercise class. What a great instructor. She explained and demonstrated the proper positions too move the body in a safe and FUN way. I even had the courage to do some of her arm exercises that day, specifically for carpal tunnel. It was a good class, so I had every intention of attending again, but to my surprise, that very night, I realized there was no pain in that arm.
